How to use it
- Type your name or bio and pick a style.
- Open Instagram, tap Edit profile and paste it in Name or Bio.
- Check the preview: the name field allows 30 characters, the bio 150.
Where you can use them on Instagram
The Name field accepts up to 30 characters and the bio up to 150, so short styles work best. Captions and comments allow up to 2,200 characters.
Your username is different: it only accepts letters, numbers, full stops and underscores, so decorated letters cannot be used there.
Keep people able to find you
Search does not always match decorated letters with normal ones. If people look you up by name, keep at least your first name in plain letters and decorate the rest, or add the styled version to your bio.

Why does Instagram cut my bio?
The bio stops at 150 characters. Decorated text, frames and accents add characters, so check the counter in the preview before pasting.
Can I change the font of my whole profile?
No. Instagram uses its own font for everyone. What you can do is paste characters that already look different, which is what these styles are.
Will my followers see the same style?
Yes, on almost every phone. Styles that may show as boxes on older devices are marked in the list.
